The Ladies' RoomThe Ladies’ Room by Carolyn Brown

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A joy to read. It was easy, quick, and filled with hilarious southern quips. I listened to the Audiobook and the person who narrated it was awesome…she had the southern drawl to fit Trudy’s character perfectly.

The story revolves around Trudy, who overhears her two snotty cousins talking about her while she was in a bathroom stall. That information transformed her from a quiet, naive wife to a take charge, full of sass, woman on a mission. You can help but love her, as well as her new neighbor/friend Billy Lee. I smiled the whole time i read this book. Was it predictable? Yes But it was fun and it made me happy and we all need to read more books that elicit those feelings.
